Icarus *waltzes in after school*: Honey, I'm home!

WG: Hi sweetie! I have dinner made -- I thought a light marinaded chicken with a tossed vinegrette salad -- and I've done the laundry, fed the cat, and I cleaned up around here a little bit. Can I fluff your pillow?

Icarus: Thank you, slave. Just a glass of water, if you will, I have fanfiction to write.

WG: Great. What's for dinner? And if you don't move your pile of junk I'm throwing it out.


The other day I discovered, hey, cat boxes don't empty themselves. *sniff, sniff* But I am vindicated! Aha, now his stuff is left all over the place.

There is nothing in the world better than a househusband. It's just a shame mine doesn't like food so I don't get the chicken salad out of the deal!

The other day I discovered, hey, cat boxes don't empty themselves. *sniff, sniff*

Well, there are some that do, but they're expensive and sometimes terrify the cats they're supposed to serve. [I heard secondhand of one cat so scared of the loud noises made by the self-cleaning litterbox that it would empty its bladder in fright just outside the litter box. Rather counterproductive, that.]

I have a horrible story about one of those that I won't tell you, except to say never ever get a self-cleaning box. O.O I'll stick with the pooper scooper.
