Well. We're back.

We just got home.

wildernessguru's mom passed away at 3:40am Saturday morning.

Not chatty at the moment. More details later.

As it works out, if we hadn't built in that extra day for the nationals -- which I blew off -- we would have arrived late Friday night with plans to see her on Saturday... and she would have been gone.

As it was, the entire family, all the kids and grandkids were there Friday.

Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, candles, and good wishes. I know they helped. Talk to you tomorrow.

So are we, oh, so are we. It was intense, with everyone just pouring out what a great mom she's been, and his father's loss. But WG's dad just lit up when he saw WG there. He just lit up.
