wildernessguru's mom passed away at 3:40am Saturday morning.
Not chatty at the moment. More details later.
As it works out, if we hadn't built in that extra day for the nationals -- which I blew off -- we would have arrived late Friday night with plans to see her on Saturday... and she would have been gone.
As it was, the entire family, all the kids and grandkids were there Friday.
Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, candles, and good wishes. I know they helped. Talk to you tomorrow.

Date: 2007-01-30 02:50 am (UTC)And I did get to see part of the nationals. WG stayed an extra night so that we could have ESPN in the hotel. So I did see most of Ryan's performance and the standing ovation, as well as Lysachek and Johnny Weir.
