Whoa, holy cow am I up to my eyeballs in readings. I'm in my second week of classes and am already running on three hours of sleep this week, just to keep up.

I haven't even started work on the Incomplete.

How the hell am I going to do this?

So I need breaks. Non sleep-related breaks of mindlessness.

amothea's finished the first pass at the Lorne/Sheppard story. I'm looking around hopefully. Any interest in a beta? Anyone? It's 20,000 words, or thereabouts.



ETA: Hmm. I'll take that as a no. *gets out butterfly net and hunts betas in email*

If no one else had put their hand up, I would have offered happily, but as there were some other options (and I am always late to the party due to time zones) I just thought that you might be better off with them.

I'll read the story, I usually do even if I have to close my eyes for large segments. Or hum loudly. You are a good writer, due to the lack of good writing in the world it would be a shame to miss out on what is there.

Auburn liked it, and she's not a Lorne fan, so I think you might be happily surprised. Also, this is one of those stories that doesn't easily fit into a category as it's straddling so many.
