As for Rodney's hair-splitting over gantlet and gauntlet, technically he's correct, but both spellings have been in use for the last 300 years. It's an etymological mystery why. Reading other people's stories, I found that not knowing the author names, I relied heavily on the summary. If the summary didn't work for me--click--to the next. Lesson noted for next time.

It's not a bad summary--I am just leery of dub con as a personal taste thing, and the line could be either very funny (in context) or it could be what I was afraid of, dub con of the sort I don't like.

IOW = In other words. Sorry, not common enough to use casually, I guess.

A summary that worries the potential reader is a bad summary. I noticed a pattern. The confident well-established writers all had rather lame summaries.
