SGA recs?

I'm under orders from Dr. WG that I not move around and type. I am allowed to lay down, read fanfic, and use the mouse.

He's allowing me this one short post.

P.S. He's not even letting me reply yet, so thank you in advance.

I don't know who I'm fooling by imagining that any of these would be new to you...but they are all great favorites of mine. I hope you enjoy at least a couple. I have probably a couple hundred saved...if you want more let me know.

http://sheafrotherdon.livejournal.com/80587.html “A Farm in Iowa” AU that morphs into SGA

http://devildoll.livejournal.com/751627.html “Junk Cheap” AU

http://www.glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/index.php All of these are good. My favorites being “Hindsight”, “Academic”, “Bell Curve”, and “Cartography by Touch”. Some of these are AU, some SGA

http://dogeared.livejournal.com/97845.html “Nantucket” AU

http://www.ltljverse.com/watergate/huntingindex.htm Both the “Retrograde” verse and “Hunting Parties” are terrific. SGA

http://www.intimations.org/fanfic/stargate/time_in_a_bottle.html “Time in a Bottle” SGA

http://toft-froggy.livejournal.com/190025.html “String Theory, A Concerto for Violin in D Minor” Oh, if you haven’t read this one you absolutely must! AU

http://eye-queue.livejournal.com/680.html “Strangers on the Six Train” AU

http://lamardeuse.dreamhost.com/sg/fashionvictim.html “Fashion Victim” SGA

Though, in terms of absolute and utter favourites-- String Theory & Strangers on a Six Train.

You've probably read Auburn's Big Bang fic, but you might not have found Suffer Me Not To Be Separated (http://www.eternalvox.net/~auburn/suffermenottobeseparated.html) which is brilliant and epic and lovely: They destroyed the city when they left it, the Atlantis expedition is recalled. Sheppard/McKay.

I also wrote terraced dynamics (http://pogrebin.livejournal.com/62512.html#cutid1) sheppard/mckay, in an AU where Rodney stuck with classical music, and never joined the stargate program.

Okay, I know you've read all the above...and you've read all I'm going to add here, as well. Read them again! They're so good!

http://community.livejournal.com/mcshep_match/53637.html “A Place on the Corner” AU This one is my current favorite of the bunch...but that changes pretty often!

http://www.strangeplaces.net/torch/aboutalamp.html “About A Lamp” SGA

http://taffetablue.livejournal.com/10542.html “A Supermarket in California” AU and a must read.

http://out-there.livejournal.com/812616.html “Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot” AU. Dance studio AU. Enough said.

http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/163706.html “The Hostage Major” Harlequin AU.

http://www.intimations.org/fanfic/stargate/lifetime_event.html “A Beautiful Lifetime Event” SGA

Yeah, I'd read most of these but re-reading worked out well when my concentration evaporated.

My love for AU's know's no bounds! I have read "A Farm in Iowa" about a dozen times, filled with joy at each reading. I get the same joy from OoB and the Nantucket verse. AU's rock!
