A list of WiPs I am following, mostly here because I keep forgetting to check for updates. This is not part of the Democratic Fic Recs (because, as this is my personal list, it's not Democratic, is it? And these are exclusively WiPs.):

Lest I Wither
Unbecoming
Season of Healing
The Tea Series
Draco Veritas
Underwater Light
Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover
Circles of Power
If Thine Enemy
The Making of Samwise
Crystalis
Two Worlds and In Between
The Long Road to Damascus
Moving Pictures
A Lacking of Foresight
Mirror of Maybe
Procul His
Sorcerer's Apprentice
Tawdry Romance Story
Practical Magics
Snape Manor

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I will update them as more occur to me. And locate links. Too tired now. Zzzzzzz.

Well, I didn't speak to her, but she definitely looked female. James Walkswithwind is a woman, too. I suspect there are probably other female writers who use male-sounding pseudonyms.

Reeaallly? That's so interesting, I had no idea. I heard about Seeker, but not those two.

It is interesting to see what kinds of names people choose. Someone should do a study on why female writers choose female-sounding, ambiguous, or male-sounding names; it's the deliberately male names I wonder about. At this point I assume slash writers are female until told otherwise.

Seeker apparently outed herself at an Escapade panel I was moderating, and I wasn't paying attention and missed the whole thing. Typical. [g]

There's one for the feminist studies.

I was blown away Seeker was a woman. That was one writer I was sure was a guy.

Like... Icarus? ;)

Actually, one of the reasons I picked 'Icarus' was to remind myself not to get cocky. The image of being so full of myself that I fly too close to the sun is very good for me, personally (Buddhist that I am), and I'm reminded of it every time I sign my name.
