I've never read "A Life More Ordinary". Pregnant Snape??? The mind boggles. I have to check that one out this weekend.

I'll second these two; not that I have read lots of mpreg, but I definitely would reread these two stories, shich is my litmus test.

I am so seconding Unnatural (http://www.subumbra.com/plank/lexinandtidmag-unnatural.html), although it's easy enough to find from the front page. lexin and Tidmag have put a huge amount of work into it, rewriting canon from the beginning to include Vernon and Petunia's response to Harry's hermaphroditism, then giving a version of Harry's fifth year (obviously written in the GoF era), realistically describing how Harry might have tried to hide it and deal with it. But after he gets pregnant, and spells start going wonky around him, he discovers that his being a pregnant hermaphrodite places him in the center of the Wizarding world and Voldemort's world, and it's all done beautifully. It's an Mpreg story that really works. I must say that I love the Hermione here; she's overly knowledgeable in an amusing way but very sympathetic. Snape is more mature than he is in canon, but very intelligent and snarky, and Draco begins as canon!Draco and loves Harry more over the course of the fic. McGonagall only has a cameo, but she rules. This seems to have been edited fairly quickly (there are a few places that need a semicolon where there's only a comma, and a few other things like that, especially near the end) but overall, it's written very well, and is certainly the best MPreg story I've read. it will take at least an hour or two to read, and is well worth it.

I definitely second both -- these are the only MPREGs I've read that really made the cut for me. Usually I don't like MPREG at all...

Thanks for the recs of those two Lexin and Lexin/Tidmag stories; I read them today, and enjoyed them.

Other recs: LinW (aka Nesting Hedwig) has done several in which mpreg features - it's used centrally, though it's not elaborated, which I know from the Beloved Enemies Yahoo list, but with any luck they're archived elsewhere like RS.org or ISF, so people not list members can get at them:
