icarus: Snape by mysterious artist (Percy glows)

Peep-show: Whoops. Percy panics. Just how much has Ron guessed?

Dressing up: A little slice of life, preparing for Saturday night.

Legal trouble: A conversation cut short, tantalising tidbits from Percy's legal trouble.

It's getting intense: Ron and Percy spill some secrets. Almost.

And in the background, Harry knows something Ron doesn't: A newly opened mind, eh? I just happened to catch this one, when Ron mentioned he wished he hadn't said something....

Oh I think not. My claim on Percy has waaay precedent. Definitely first. Yep.

*gasps in outrage*

You're trying to snake my Percy away from me, out from under my nose! Shocking behavior. We all know who had first (or second or third) dibs on Percy.

If you think you have a better claim, I'll require that you provide some evidence. Otherwise... well.

Oh him? Insignificant. I'm sure I can change his mind. But in fact I do have a record of declaring my position some time ago. Don't make me provide links on you.

I wasn't thinking about him, actually. Himself is rather occupied at the moment (*cough* foaming at the mouth over S. and D. *cough*), so he won't care about me appropriating my little redheaded tidbit.

I demand links! At least three to prove any prior claim.

Three. I can do one, I believe prior is simply prior, and I'm not sure why number of times prior seems to matter, or possibly two.

Ah. Well.

One could say that three is needed to provide sufficient proof because three is a perfect number, according to classic Aristotelian (if there is even such a word) virtues. Then one could add that once is chance, twice is coincidence and thrice is certainty. Finally, one could round out the argument by muttering on about scientific methods requiring at least three points of data to evaluate a hypothesis.

Alternately, one could say that I'm afraid you actually have one prior link and thus demand three in the hopes that you can't actually produce that many. *cough* Although that might be considered cheating. *cough*

Well given that one of my own characters is currently slashing it up in Percy's naked body, I no longer feel the need to prove a claim.

*buffs nails*

I have evidently already won.

And which character might that be? *Icarus looks up at ceiling; whistles innocently.*
