painless_j. This seems to be one of the more stunningly self-absorbed memes rolling around, but as I have a math test I'm not ready for tomorrow that will sink all hopes of my completing my degree by June, I'm feeling like I need some distraction.
1. For those who haven't seen me / a photo of me: (that leaves you out, EA ;)
What do I look like? How you imagine me? Tall or short? Fat or skinny? What colour and length is my hair? What colour are my eyes? Am I graceful or awkward?
2. How do you all see me? Am I:
*a leader or a follower
*quiet or talkative
*spontaneous or planned
*dominant or submissive
*logical or intuitive
*social or loner
*kinky or vanilla
*cute or sophisticated
*kitten or puppy
*warm flannel sheets or sleek satin
*helpfully adviceful or just nosy
*patient or anxious
*conventional or eccentric
Color me amused. I think this would probably be easy, except for the appearance part which I never mention.

Date: 2004-12-21 10:22 am (UTC)I know from previous posts that you're not tall ...
*g* Not even remotely.
so, I imagine you're slim and feminine,
Yep. WG says "you feminine thing, you."
short auburn hair (perhaps with highlights or colour) and grey eyes.
Oh, your version's so much prettier. I have brown hair and brown eyes. But my brother and I both got the long kitten-y eyelashes, of the sort that doesn't need mascara.
You are graceful, with an economy of movement (no body noise).
I used to be a "choepen," which is a sort of Buddhist altar-boy (girl?) only much more involved. You had to do everything silently, unnoticed, like a cat.
I think you are:
*a leader
Definitely not a follower, but I rarely lead either, except by default. I don't like the attention.
*talkative
Yep. It's a family trait.
*planned
Suprisingly, it took me years to learn how to plan - though now I'm quite good at it. I prefer to just toss all plans out the window if I can. But in this life that's generally not possible, you get nothing done. My one big concession to my desire for not-planning: I haven't worn a watch since 1992.
*dominant
Oh yeah, have no doubt about that.
*intuitive
Yes. I definitely lean towards intuition, but just like I've learned to plan, I've learned to process intuition very carefully. For example, someone gave me a bad feeling and I couldn't tell what it was. As a kid I would just not trust that person and avoid them. But now I would review the conversation until I pinpointed the exact moment they said something with hard eyes and a slightly fake smile and realize: "Oh. She was lying to me there."
*social or loner (kind of inbetween)
Loner, but social with my friends. But I can be quite chatty with people I don't know, if carefully superficial. My brother and I were trained from an early age to be ornamental in the cocktail party world.
*kinky
Oh yes.
*sophisticated
I tried to figure this one out above (because, no, I don't know the answers to these really except for the obvious ones). I've decided that teeny people can't easily do sophisticated, they're stuck with cute, but that my tastes definitely run towards the elegant.
*kitten
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
*sleek satin
I believe that always pick what feels good (silk, rayon, cotten). Satin's a little cold to the touch for me. :)
*helpfully adviceful
Yes. I don't ask personal questions, so people have to let me know.
*patient
With other people and students, yes. With myself, perfection or else.
*conventional (on the outside)
Ha! You nailed it. I can "pass" for normal.
Some of these traits are quite diverse, but I think you're just that: not quite fitting in the box-type.
Are you going to let us know how close we are? ;o)
That was fun.
