Gacked from painless_j. This seems to be one of the more stunningly self-absorbed memes rolling around, but as I have a math test I'm not ready for tomorrow that will sink all hopes of my completing my degree by June, I'm feeling like I need some distraction.

I am 5'1", but here's the odd thing: people are generally surprised that I'm that small, even when they've known me for years and they're looking at me. Can someone 'seem' taller?

I've learned to plan, but I prefer to just take things as they come when I have a choice. My brother and I used to go for "drives." What this meant is we'd gas up our car, gather up a pile of good driving music, and then deliberately get lost on unfamiliar roads. No one who likes to plan would do that. :D

I'm both actually, which is very odd. I think I'm more naturally intuitive, but I don't trust intuition so I run it through a thorough analysis to be sure.

I veer pretty far towards loner, actually. I've always had only a handful of carefully picked friends who need a crowbar to pry me out of the house. Among those friends I'm the "idea" man, however.

Gosh, I've been called both. I don't know. When people talk about how I look, it's always "cute." But my tastes in music, furniture, et al tend towards the elegant rather than cutesy. In fact, I think you have it, because I detest cute.

My brother and I are less than a year apart, which makes him... hmm... late 30's. :D Been driving a while.

I used to be a "choepen," which is a sort of Buddhist altar-boy (girl?) only much more involved. You had to do everything silently, unnoticed, like a cat.

Suprisingly, it took me years to learn how to plan - though now I'm quite good at it. I prefer to just toss all plans out the window if I can. But in this life that's generally not possible, you get nothing done. My one big concession to my desire for not-planning: I haven't worn a watch since 1992.

Oh yeah, have no doubt about that.

Yes. I definitely lean towards intuition, but just like I've learned to plan, I've learned to process intuition very carefully. For example, someone gave me a bad feeling and I couldn't tell what it was. As a kid I would just not trust that person and avoid them. But now I would review the conversation until I pinpointed the exact moment they said something with hard eyes and a slightly fake smile and realize: "Oh. She was lying to me there."

Loner, but social with my friends. But I can be quite chatty with people I don't know, if carefully superficial. My brother and I were trained from an early age to be ornamental in the cocktail party world.

Tallish, pale Caucasian, with blackity black hair in a style that sort of like the bastard love child of a pageboy and the Rachel cut, only infinitely more hip, and round black plastic glasses. And built to kick ass, like Linda Hamilton in "Terminator." I imagine you could bust out some sort of kung-fu grip at any moment. (And even though I know better, my mental image of you still looks about twenty-five to thirty. I guess you come off as youthfully vibrant. Both: you're talkative when you're comfortable with the person and generally quiet otherwise.

With regards to your appearance . . . I hate to speculate in the absence of any evidence. But judging from your comments about your health problems earlier this fall, I'd guess that you're average weight or slender (not plump) and perhaps petite. As for coloring, etc, I have no idea.

With regard to those personality profile adjectives:

*quiet or talkative? Not sure. You're talkative, online.

*spontaneous or planned? Spontaneous. You can do planned, if you have to. But you don't seem to enjoy it.

*logical or intuitive? Actually, I think you are relatively adept at both. That's rare.

*kinky or vanilla? That's a question, in your case? Kinky, of course.
