icarusI've been plagiarized.
Skinny Dipping has been ripped off and posted on Fanfiction.net.
My story, Skinny Dipping, Harry/Percy, was written in 2003. So far as I can tell Cedric17 didn't change a word.
The reason I'd never posted it at Fanfiction.net is that the story is NC-17, violates the TOU, and it even includes underaged sex. Harry is 14 and Percy is 18.

ETA: I bet they thought they could get away with this because it's a lesser-known story, having had less play because of the chan issue.

And they hope, for a little while, they'll get some praise for something they themselves can't produce.
They don't care that it's not theirs because all they want is the rewards of recognition.
This happened to [Unknown site tag], too, with some of her more obscure Durmstrang fics.
It's always the obscure stuff that gets ripped off because they can get away with it a little longer. Like stealing from the back of the store instead of the front shelf.
