Positive feedback.
Sep. 14th, 2006 09:11 pmNow this is my idea of a good review.
This is the sort of review that's honest, positive, yet gives constructive feeback that I can really use. I hadn't considered that Snape's viewpoint hadn't been developed early enough, although I remember my beta had mentioned something along these lines. In 2003, I'd opted to stick with my structure of a strict Harry viewpoint up until the start of their relationship, at which point I alternated between Snape and Harry's POV. But you know, the reviewer has a point.
Three years later I'm not likely to edit it, and this was my second HP fanfic. There are a lot of things I'd change. But it's something to learn from. *nods*
I really enjoyed reading this and would suggest it to all harry/snape shippers XD
My suggestions to the author -
~ a little more Snape development in earlier chapters so the reader can follow his progressive 'obsession' over Harry
~ the ending was perhaps a little overly dramatic, but I feel that a bit more snape development would allow the reader to sympathise with all angles of the situation and could even bring the reader to tears.
So in other words suggestion 2 wouldnt exist if it werent for suggestion 1.
Though dont take this as an insulting review. It really was a great story and very well written. Im just nit-picky. lol
